Finding the right roofer can be a chore in itself!

What products does your contractor intend to use? Does he look for the cheapest buy from his supplier or does he guarantee high-grade, top named brand quality shingles, siding, windows, etc? How is does his warranty compare with others?
Credibility:
Does you roofing contractor have satisfied and happy customers and referrals? Does he follow through with his warranty work in a timely and professional manner? Is he a preferred vendor or is he a certified contractor with any manufactures? Is he a member of any local business organizations? Does he give back to the community?
Service:
Is he there for you when you need him? Is the sales representative there for you? How do the inspect or clean up the job site? How long will it take him to respond to a warranty issue should you experience a leak or any other issue?
